Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Embedded Robotics Engineer to design, build, and integrate software powering autonomous robots across the full robotics stack, from sensor integration to behavior systems. You will collaborate with product, design, engineering, and operations to translate requirements into robust, production-grade software, mentor junior engineers, and raise the bar through code and design reviews.

The role is fully remote in the U.S.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of robotics software engineering experience.
• Proficient in C++ and Python.
• Hands-on ROS/ROS 2 in production projects.
• Solid experience with perception, localization, motion planning, or control.
• Familiarity with sensor fusion and Kalman/particle filters.
• Experience with simulation environments (Gazebo, Isaac Sim, MuJoCo).
• Strong debugging skills in real-time and concurrent systems.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Experience supporting field tests and hardware integration.
