Interstates seeks a Virtual Designer to lead project implementation of Virtual Design Construction (VDC) technology, coordinating between the field, business units, and the corporate office. Strong communication and collaboration are essential, and the role may be remote.

You will design concepts, review project scope, schedules, and prefabrication opportunities; mentor teammates; and help set deliverables in BIM-enabled workflows across electrical and automation projects.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or associate; bachelor's preferred.
• 4–10 years of experience in virtual design and construction or similar.
• Advanced skills in virtual modeling software and BIM standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead project implementation of Virtual Design Construction technology.
• Act as the liaison between field, business units and corporate office.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and project teams in onsite or virtual meetings.
