Job summary

Stripe is seeking a Partner Solutions Engineer, Ecosystem, to own technical delivery for a portfolio of partner integrations. You will work directly with partners, Product, and Engineering to move opportunities from discovery through implementation and launch.

You will develop deep expertise in Stripe’s app and developer platform, identifying recurring barriers and creating reusable guidance to improve future partner experiences. This is a hands‑on, external‑facing engineering role.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in solutions engineering, partner engineering, software engineering, technical consulting, or similar hands‑on roles.
• Experience designing and delivering production integrations using APIs, webhooks, authentication/authorization, event‑driven systems, or developer platforms.
• Ability to read, write, and debug code in languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Ruby, Java, or Go.
• Experience diagnosing complex integration failures across partner systems, APIs, and product surfaces.
• Experience leading external partners from technical discovery through implementation, testing, and launch.
• Ability to translate ambiguous partner goals into a clear architecture, delivery plan, and technical decisions.
• Ability to identify patterns across multiple implementations and turn them into reusable guidance or Product requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication with technical, business, and executive audiences.
• Experience working across Product, Engineering, Partnerships, Sales, or other cross‑functional teams.
• Sound judgment balancing partner urgency, Product constraints, implementation quality, and long‑term platform leverage.

Responsibilities

• Own partner technical delivery: planning, architecture, implementation support, testing, and launch readiness for partner integrations.
• Translate partner goals into clear technical requirements, dependencies, milestones, and success criteria.
• Maintain one accountable technical plan across partner, Global Partnerships, Product, and Engineering teams.
• Identify delivery risks early and drive technical decisions through launch.
• Lead critical partner escalations and resolve complex production integration failures.
• Own a technical portfolio across multiple ecosystem areas and prioritize integrations.
• Connect partner delivery to adoption, commercial, and user outcomes.
• Develop deep expertise in Stripe’s app and developer platform and provide guidance on embedded experiences and monetization.
• Translate implementation evidence into Product requirements and roadmap recommendations.
• Create reusable leverage: prototypes, scripts, lightweight tooling, and launch‑readiness standards across permissions and testing.
