Job summary

Voya Financial, Inc. is seeking a Client Relationship Manager to ensure service delivery meets client expectations and drives satisfaction, retention, and plan optimization.

The role requires building trust-based relationships with senior executives, HR, and brokers, leading cross-functional teams, and guiding plan design and engagement strategies across 401(k) accounts. This position allows work from home or at any Voya location.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in client service relationship management for defined contribution plans
• State insurance license must be obtained within 60-days of hire
• Strong understanding of 401(k) plans and investment background
• Strong client management experience and skills
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Travel – 35–50% of time; Locations – Nationwide
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Meets with client key stakeholders to develop trust-based relationships
• Consults with clients and brokers on investment issues including performance and diversification
• Leads cross-functional service team to execute the plan and report on effectiveness
• Responsible for client retention and manages RFIs, RFPs, and benchmarking exercises
• Negotiates appropriate Service Level Agreements
• Coordinates internal resources for client enhancement project work
• Identifies business opportunities for organic growth and cross-sale
