Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA is seeking a Manager, Corporate Portfolio and M&A to drive growth across the company’s strategic portfolio, including organic and inorganic opportunities such as digital health and emerging technologies. The role requires regular travel to the Lake Zurich, IL headquarters, with priority given to local candidates.

Responsibilities include leading due diligence, business case development, and presentation of recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in scientific/technical/finance field required; MBA strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of experience with at least 2 years in Business Development, M&A, Strategy and analytics; 3+ years in healthcare.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and their business impact.
• Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel up to 15%, including international travel.

Responsibilities

• Analyze markets, segments, sectors, companies/assets including startups across Fresenius business areas to identify targets for inorganic growth.
• Lead project management with functional leads and cross-functional teams for due diligence, business case development, board approvals and execution.
• Prepare pitch documents for management to align and prioritize inorganic targets.
• Manage internal corporate portfolio analysis and evaluation of new business areas and target evaluations.
• Build valuations for target assets using DCF, NPV and precedent analysis.
• Oversee strategic corporate projects through all phases from identification to execution.
• Collaborate with global teams to deliver on corporate projects and ensure execution.
• Present Fresenius as a preferred partner to external interfaces including consultants and banks.
• Leverage market insights to inform strategy and future direction.
