Job summary

ENERCON is expanding its Corporate Quality organization and seeking a Quality Engineer to support and strengthen our Quality Management System across a diverse portfolio. This role emphasizes auditing internal operations, suppliers, and project execution activities within a regulated environment.

The position can be based in any ENERCON office and may be remote within the US for senior candidates. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in quality assurance, experience auditing engineering design

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field; equivalent experience considered.
• At least 3 years in quality assurance within regulated or engineering environments.
• Experience auditing engineering design packages, processes, and suppliers.
• Lead Auditor experience; NQA-1 or ISO 9001 background preferred.
• Knowledge of 10 CFR Part 21, 10 CFR Part 50 Appendix B, ISO 9001, ASME/ANSI NQA-1.
• US citizen required for federal contract work.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform internal and supplier audits; enforce requirements and stop nonconforming work.
• Review contracts, purchase orders, and specifications to flow down quality requirements.
• Review and improve quality procedures supporting QMS and projects.
• Develop corrective actions and verify effectiveness via root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with engineering, PM, procurement, and operations to resolve quality issues.
