ENERCON is expanding its Corporate Quality organization and seeks a Quality Engineer to support the Quality Management System across a diverse portfolio of work. In high-stakes environments, quality is a reputation to defend, and you will embed it into processes and decisions from inception through execution.

This role can be based in any ENERCON office location, and senior candidates may work remotely within the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred; other technical degrees considered.
• 3+ years of quality assurance in highly regulated or engineering consulting environments.
• Experience auditing engineering design packages, internal processes, and suppliers.
• Knowledge of 10 CFR Part 21, 10 CFR Part 50 Appendix B, ASME/ANSI NQA-1, ISO 9001.
• Lead Auditor experience; NQA-1 Subpart 3.1 qualification highly preferred; ISO 9001 Lead Auditor preferred.
• Strong understanding of quality systems, auditing techniques, and corrective action processes.

Responsibilities

• Auditing & Compliance: plan and perform internal and supplier audits and surveillances as a Lead Auditor.
• Contract & Requirement Review: ensure flow-down of quality requirements in PO, contracts, and orders.
• Quality Systems & Procedures: update quality procedures and support the QMS and project management.
• Corrective Action & Root Cause: issue and manage Corrective Action Reports; verify effectiveness.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: partner with engineering, procurement, and operations to resolve quality issues.
