Job summary

ACME is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Greenville, SC to support ACME brand customers and the sales office with quotations, orders, and inquiries. This role collaborates with Regional Sales Managers to manage expedites and customer complaints, serving as the inside contact for all ACME requests.

The position requires prior manufacturing customer service or call center experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with SAP, Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing customer service or call center is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of SAP order cycle, scheduling, shipping, and invoicing; Salesforce a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls and reply to emails from customers and field offices.
• Process orders in SAP and coordinate ship dates with production.
• Support sales reps and regional managers in updating orders for same-day shipment.
• Maintain availability through the call center to take inbound calls.
• Coordinate shipments during shortages or mis-shipments and process returns.
• Handle quotes, lead times, and order status inquiries.
• Determine stock locations and process deliveries via SAP; address price and stock inquiries.
• Communicate with manufacturing and brand management to resolve requests and special shipping instructions.
