Job summary

Huntington Bancshares, Inc. is seeking a Financial Relationship Banker to join our branch team. You will help customers achieve financial goals by retaining and growing relationships and by recommending deposit, loan, and other banking products and services.

You will proactively identify client needs, educate customers on digital banking, and collaborate with colleagues to expand bank relationships while adhering to policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 1 year of customer service and sales experience in banking or related field.
• Bachelor's degree and 1+ year in customer service and sales in banking or financial services preferred.
• Ability to build, deepen and retain relationships.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer issues.
• Grow customer relationships through appointments, referrals, and a disciplined sales process.
• Educate customers on online, mobile, and ATM banking and other bank services.
• Maintain knowledge of products, services, technology, and policies.
• Adhere to operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies.
• Refer customers to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships.
