Job summary

PBS SoCal, a donor-supported community institution, seeks a Facilities Manager in Burbank to supervise studio and office facilities, fleets, and calendars. The role reports to the SVP, Finance & Administration, exercising independent judgment with limited supervision to ensure safe, reliable operations across locations.

Responsibilities include building and fleet maintenance, vendor coordination, access control, event setup, and emergency protocols, with occasional travel to other sites as

Qualifications

• Experience reading construction as-built plans.
• Experience managing an office and supplemental locations.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance schedules.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with vendors and manage purchasing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise facilities, fleet management and calendars.
• Manage all company vehicles including maintenance, insurance, licensing and usage.
• Coordinate building-related issues across locations and liaise with maintenance/engineering staff.
• Lead HVAC and UPS maintenance items for studio spaces.
• Maintain facilities cleanliness, stock office supplies, and manage access cards.
• Set up rooms for department use and assist with events at studio or off-site locations.
• Act as floor warden and lead evacuation drills during emergencies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
