Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking a Facility Technician to ensure efficient operation, maintenance and repair of building envelopes, systems, and infrastructure at our Glendale site. You will troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, respond to service calls, and coordinate with vendors and contractors to keep facilities safe and compliant.

The role requires 3+ years in building engineering or facilities management, strong knowledge of HVAC, BAS, and electrical systems, and a valid California driver's

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of experience in building engineering, facilities management or a related field or equivalent.
• Understanding of Class A commercial building operations.
• Demonstrated proficiency with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and BAS.
• Knowledge of applicable building codes, safety standards, regulatory requirements, and energy efficiency practices.
• Valid state Class C Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Monitor BAS to optimize energy use and system performance.
• Address and resolve building system failures promptly.
• Respond to service calls and emergencies during/after business hours.
• Complete preventive, corrective and reactive maintenance work orders in the CMMS.
