Job summary

North Carolina A&T State University seeks an Endpoint Management Specialist/IT System Administrator II to manage and secure desktops, laptops, and mobile devices, and oversee enterprise management systems.

The role partners with ITS operations and senior staff to implement secure configurations, deploy updates, address vulnerabilities, and coordinate upgrades for high-performance endpoints campus-wide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and 2 years of endpoint management experience.
• Experience with enterprise endpoint management and security.
• Knowledge of ADA compliance and assistive technologies in educational spaces.

Responsibilities

• Manage and secure desktops, laptops, and mobile devices across the university.
• Create secure baseline configurations and images for endpoints and manage deployments.
• Install updates/patches, address vulnerabilities, and coordinate services with IT staff.
