Job summary

North Carolina A&T State University seeks an Endpoint Management Specialist to oversee the secure, enterprise-wide management of desktops, laptops, and mobile devices. You will create baseline configurations, deploy updates, and address vulnerabilities in coordination with ITS teams.

The role requires expertise with Windows, AD, MECM/Intune, JAMF PRO, and VMware Horizon, and demands strong collaboration across departments to maintain high security and performance for all university endpoints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with two (2) years’ experience in endpoint management and technology support roles.
• Experience with Windows, Active Directory, GPOs, MECM, Intune, JAMF PRO, and VMware Horizon, or similar applications.
• Experience managing virtual desktops in a VMware Horizon environment; knowledge of VMware vSphere.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive technical expertise to manage and secure university desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
• Lead creation of secure baseline configurations and images for endpoints; install updates and patches.
• Address vulnerabilities and manage associated enterprise systems; coordinate services with ITS teams.
• Collaborate with senior technical staff to ensure high performance and secure endpoints across the university.
