Job summary
Capital One is seeking a Director of Technical Program Management (remote-eligible) to lead major technical programs and drive scalable platform capabilities across the organization. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
- 7+ years of experience managing technical programs.
- 7+ years designing and building distributed systems or SOA.
- 3+ years building scalable products and platforms.
- 3+ years experience with Agile delivery.
- Experience in regulated environments.
- MBA or related Master’s degree.
- PMP/Lean/Agile/Six Sigma certification.
- 3+ years of people management or IC influence.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to TPM/Delivery strategy and scale across portfolios.
- Drive program roadmap aligned with business objectives and technical solutions.
- Lead cross-platform investment planning and ensure architectural alignment.
- Serve as executive-level escalation point for program risks.
- Ensure measurable outcomes for platform success across multiple engineering teams.
