Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Director of Technical Program Management with remote-eligibility to lead large-scale technology initiatives across the organization. You will drive cross-platform delivery, align roadmaps with business goals, and establish TPM maturity across teams.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years managing technical programs, strong leadership, and experience with distributed systems, cloud, and Agile delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
7+ years of experience managing technical programs.
Experience designing and building distributed systems/SOA.
Experience delivering large and complex programs with cross-functional teams.
MBA or Master’s in a related technical field preferred, plus certifications (PMP, Lean, Agile/Six Sigma).

Responsibilities

Lead programs delivering on critical business goals and scalable platform capabilities.
Pave the way for TPM discipline growth within the team and teach organization best TPM practices.
Establish operating mechanisms, maturity models, and tooling that scale across portfolios.
Drive program roadmaps aligned to business objectives and dependencies.
Ensure measurable platform outcomes (availability, scalability, cost efficiency, velocity).
