Job summary

The State of Arizona is seeking a Court Operations Specialist to support the Inmate Release Court (IRC) Program within the Court Services Division. The role assists the Program Manager with daily operations, business requirements, liaison activities across departments, staff training, and progress documentation.

Essential duties include developing procedures, coordinating with courts, testing case management automation, researching data eligibility, and producing quality reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with five years of related experience in the judicial system or corrections.
• Strong organizational, tracking and data quality monitoring skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of the business procedures and training documentation to guide and assist courts with the IRC Program.
• Work closely with Arizona courts and court management to ensure a uniform message is provided to the courts.
• Assist in organizing, planning, and testing court case management system automation for the IRC Program functionality.
• Perform research of court case management system data to determine eligibility for the IRC.
• Develops and reviews ad hoc and data quality reports to identify court data inconsistencies.
• Reports eligibility and related information to local courts.
• Monitors ongoing business processes and diagnoses problems with business requirement processes.
