Job summary

Adams County Detention Facility is seeking a corrections professional to manage Pretrial Release, Pretrial Supervision, Classifications, Inmate Workers, Work Release, Time Computation, and State Offenders in a 24/7 environment.

Responsibilities include interviewing, verification for housing, maintaining inmate records, calculating release dates, and coordinating with courts and law enforcement. Requires a High School diploma or GED and CCIC/NCIC certification.

Qualifications

• Interviewing techniques, verification of information, and program eligibility knowledge.
• Experience in criminal justice, corrections, or case management functions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage inmates through Pretrial, Classifications, Time Computation/State Offender, Supervised Release and Work Release.
• Conduct interviews and verifications for housing placement and program eligibility.
• Maintain records of inmate status, sentencing, and program participation in databases.
• Calculate and verify release dates; ensure compliance with court orders.
• Monitor progress in court-ordered programs and prepare compliance reports.
• Coordinate with courts, law enforcement, and external partners regarding inmate status.
• Conduct orientations, office visits, and field checks for program participants.
• Perform administrative functions including data entry and statistical reporting.
• Interview incoming inmates and provide CPAT; prepare court docket and duties as required.
• Maintain records and monitor compliance with custody requirements.
