Job summary

Mutual Housing California is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support senior staff in planning, development, and financing of affordable housing projects. You will assist with budgets, proformas, funding applications, due diligence, and coordination of development teams from feasibility to occupancy.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist updating and maintaining project budgets, proformas, cash flows and schedules.
• Identify funding sources and policy initiatives for funding rounds.
• Prepare applications for local, state, federal funding and loans.
• Coordinate due diligence processes.
• Coordinate bids and select development team members and contract specialists.
• Prepare loan draw requests and documentation for funders; attend meetings as needed.
• Take and prepare meeting minutes; coordinate events and community meetings.
• Assist with planning approvals and progress reports.
• Support program development with Asset Management and Resident Services.
• Maintain project accounting, budgets, reconciliations, and cash management.
• Provide administrative support and explain processes to residents.
• Attend trainings and industry conferences as recommended.
• Carry out duties assigned by Director of Housing Development.
