Job summary

Mercy Housing is seeking an Assistant Project Manager I in Sacramento to support the real estate development team with administrative and technical services for new development, relocation/community development, and rehabilitation of housing projects. This project-based role offers a hybrid schedule.

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least one year of related experience; experience in low-income housing is preferred. Salary up to $29/hour DOE applies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in City and Regional Planning or related field.
• One year of demonstrated experience in related work.
• 1 year: Experience in project management, real estate development, affordable housing.

Responsibilities

• Create, compose, and prepare correspondence, including tenant/community notices, and distributes out-going correspondence via fax, mail, or e-mail, as needed.
• Write and edit various materials utilizing Word and Excel, and independently manage administrative functions for division/site.
• Schedule and confirm meetings, conference calls, and meeting spaces.
• Attend project meetings with consultants, tenants, and other stakeholders, taking notes and supporting logistics.
• Assist with tenant/project files or database; produce reports and maintain confidential materials.
• Prepare check requests, invoicing, contracts, division plans and budgets/proformas for review by manager.
• Prepare project financial analysis, narratives and applications/proposals for funding.
• Perform other tasks to ensure smooth functioning of the division/site and support team.
