Job summary

The Minnesota Department of Human Services seeks an Eligibility & User Support Specialist in St. Paul, with responsibilities centered at the Brainerd MN central office campus.

This role acts as an expert resource for MHCP system problems to ensure accurate eligibility determinations, benefits, and service delivery while maintaining precise premium and billing activities. The position requires knowledge of METS/MMIS/MAXIS, regulatory interpretation, data analysis, and effective communication

Qualifications

• Knowledge of health care systems including METS, MMIS and MAXIS.
• Experience interpreting state and federal regulations for Medicaid/ MinnesotaCare/ MNsure.
• Ability to analyze data to detect discrepancies and propose fixes.
• Experience with system procedure manuals (ONEsource, MMIS user manual, etc).
• Bachelor’s degree may substitute for one year of experience.
