Responsibilities

• Answer telephones and provide excellent customer service to staff and insurance representatives.
• Run and utilize computer reports regularly.
• Observe confidentiality and safeguard all patient information.
• Provide accurate updates on Insurance Eligibility status for patients.
• Ensure Insurance Eligibility is obtained and documented for all patients.
• Follow agency policies and procedures and communicate issues to supervision.
• Assist in orientation and education of other employees in Eligibility.
• Notifies Supervisor of problems and assists with solutions.
• Complete ongoing education and demonstrate competency.
