Responsibilities

• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits prior to admission.
• Confirm coverage for home health services.
• Review Medicare, Medicaid, MA and commercial plans.
• Obtain and document verification information accurately.
• Communicate with payer representatives to resolve eligibility questions.
• Identify and communicate coverage issues to the appropriate team.
• Assist with obtaining required authorizations and tracking status.
• Maintain accurate patient insurance and demographic information.
• Coordinate with Intake, Billing, Clinical and other departments to prevent delays.
