Job summary

Stride, Inc. seeks an Elementary School Academic Administrator for Volunteer State Virtual Academy (VSVA). The role leads educational, administrative and counseling activities, with emphasis on a data-driven, student-centered model and strong parent communication.

Requirements include Tennessee Principal Certification, a master's degree in education or related field, five years of education experience and one year supervisory experience. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

Master's degree in business, education or related field.
Five (5) years of educational experience.
One (1) year of supervisory experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to clear required background check.
State License as a School Administrator.

Responsibilities

Directs and coordinates educational, administrative and counseling activities of students.
researches and implements non-K12 curriculum resources that meet state standards.
Manages teaching and administrative staff; Manages Master and Lead Teachers and programs.
Coordinates with teachers, students, and parents concerning educational and behavioral problems.
Develops and oversees implementation of the school's Academic Improvement Plan.
