Qualifications

• Master’s degree in education or related field (or equivalent).
• Five (5) years of educational experience.
• One (1) year of supervisory experience or equivalent combination.
• Ability to clear required background check.
• North Carolina Administrative Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure conformance of educational programs to state and local standards.
• Research and implement non-K12 curriculum resources meeting state standards.
• Manage teaching and administrative staff; oversee Master and Lead Teachers and programs.
• Articulate the school’s mission and vision in a virtual work environment.
• Confer with teachers, students, and parents on educational/behavioral issues.
• Coordinate with enrollment regarding expulsions and withdrawals.
• Ensure compliance with laws including special education requirements.
• Develop and oversee implementation of the Academic Improvement Plan.
