Job summary

TEEMA is seeking an experienced Instructor – Electrical Training to deliver high-quality electrical training in classroom and hands-on labs. You will prepare courses, engage adult learners, and assess examinations.

The ideal candidate combines electrical industry experience with strong communication and teaching skills, and enjoys helping others build technical knowledge. This remote role requires travel up to 80% to client locations.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience teaching or delivering formal training in an adult education environment.
• 7–15 years of low-voltage industrial installation and troubleshooting experience.
• Strong electrical industry knowledge and understanding of electrical theory.
• Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred.
• Experience reading electrical prints and diagrams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and laboratory electrical training.
• Prepare lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on lab exercises.
• Lead classroom discussions and maintain an engaging learning environment.
• Administer and grade examinations with feedback to students.
• Apply NFPA, IEEE, ANSI, ASTM, ANSI/NETA, OSHA standards to training content.
• Develop and improve training programs to meet customer needs.
• Travel to customer locations up to 80%.
