Job summary
ABB is seeking an Electrical Technical Advisor (Solution Architect) to join the Automation – Energy Industries team in the UK. You will be the key technical expert supporting the sales team on electrical opportunities, architecting and pricing competitive, compliant electrical solutions using ABB and third‑party products across HV/MV/LV gear and substations.

Qualifications
- Knowledge of electrical equipment such as HV/MV/LV switchgears, UPS, transformers, and substations.
- Experience integrating electrical systems with control/telecom.
- Ability to read/create ETAP/PowerFactory models.
- Ability to interpret HVAC, fire/gas, cabling, and civil requirements.
Responsibilities
- Act as the Main Technical Authority for Electrical Solutions.
- Architect complete electrical solutions using ABB and third‑party products.
- Produce compelling, customer‑focused technical offers.
- Drive continuous improvement and optimize processes and tools.
