Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager/Engineer in the Sarasota area. The role combines senior electrical engineering design with project management leadership to guide projects from kickoff through completion.

Expect involvement in power, lighting, and fire alarm system design. The position emphasizes coordination, client relations, and proactive communication while leveraging AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Project Management Certification preferred.
• 7+ years of Electrical Engineering design experience in MEP/architectural firms.
• LEED accreditation desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for power, lighting, fire alarm systems.
• Coordinate design teams from inception to completion.
• Prepare proposals and project reports.
• Lead design and construction meetings.
• Perform design calculations and CA duties (submittals, RFIs, shop drawings).
• Site visits to assess field installations and conditions.
• Support marketing and BD efforts.
