Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer/Designer to support the design and delivery of mechanical building systems for large-scale projects in St. Petersburg, FL.

You will design building systems, develop layouts and construction documents, and coordinate with electrical, plumbing, architectural, and construction teams. With 10+ years in the field and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, you will leverage strong Revit skills, mentor junior staff, and contribute to constructability

Qualifications

• 10+ years of mechanical engineering/design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• Strong Revit proficiency required.
• Experience designing mechanical systems for buildings.
• Experience with multifamily, high-rise, hospitality, commercial, healthcare, data center or similar projects.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical building systems for large-scale construction projects.
• Develop layouts, calculations, drawings, and construction documents.
• Coordinate mechanical designs with electrical, plumbing, architectural, and construction teams.
• Review designs for quality, accuracy, and constructability.
• Work directly with clients and project stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers.
• Support resolution of design and constructability issues during field execution.
