Job summary

Jobgether is recruiting an Electrical Engineer based in the United States to support utility-scale solar, wind, and natural gas assets. You will analyze events, optimize protective systems, and ensure regulatory compliance while collaborating with field teams and project developers.

You will perform power system studies, arc-flash analyses, and maintenance planning, with travel up to 20% and remote work within the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 4+ years of experience in power generation, transmission, or distribution.
• PE license preferred; without PE 5+ years experience.
• Experience with ETAP, SKM, EasyPower or similar software.
• Strong knowledge across protection, arc-flash, electrical safety, maintenance, reliability, and NERC.

Responsibilities

• Analyze plant trips and electrical events; determine root causes and provide real-time support.
• Provide on-site engineering support during outages and oversee contractor work.
• Develop and optimize protective relay settings and review protection designs.
• Perform short-circuit, load-flow, protection coordination, and other studies with ETAP or similar tools.
• Conduct arc-flash analyses and review LOTO procedures for safety.
• Support regulatory audits, compliance submissions, and reporting.
• Evaluate electrical infrastructure for prospective assets and acquisitions.
• Contribute to maintenance planning and reliability improvement.
