Jobgether is seeking a Senior Protection Engineer to lead protection studies across transmission, substations, and generator interconnections. You will develop protection models, analyze short-circuit performance, and guide studies from planning through commissioning, with mentoring responsibilities.

The role offers hybrid or remote work with periodic travel. Requires a BS in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years in protection, and EIT/FE; PE is a plus and US work authorization is required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; electric power emphasis preferred.
• 5+ years in protection engineering or power-system studies.
• Subject matter expert in power system protection.
• EIT/FE credential required; PE licensure preferred.
• Current authorization to work full-time in the United States.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical leadership for protection studies, modeling, calculations, and engineering decisions.
• Develop, validate protection and short-circuit models using ASPEN OneLiner, PSS CAPE, or comparable software.
• Perform protection studies for transmission systems, substations, renewable facilities, and interconnections.
• Prepare technically defensible reports documenting methodologies, results, risks, and mitigations.
• Mentor engineers and oversee QA/QC of protection studies and related reports.
