Job summary

DataAnnotation seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to evaluate how frontier AI models handle real electrical and electronics engineering tasks. You will apply your judgment from years of hardware design, debugging, and shipping to guide the next generation of engineering tools.

You will design challenging problems, run them through AI models, and critique outputs with clear reasoning, flags, and evidence for any failures. This is a remote, project-ready role with strong English requirements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industry experience in circuit or electronics engineering.
• Background in electrical/electronics engineering or related field.
• Strong ability to defend design tradeoffs and component/system decisions.
• Ability to articulate why an answer is wrong.
• Comfort working with AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Design challenging, realistic engineering problems for AI models.
• Run problems through frontier AI models and judge outputs.
• Compare two model versions on identical prompts and evaluate performance.
• Critique model-generated derivations, schematics, and calculations with rationale.
• Flag concrete failures with evidence and rectify shortcomings.
