Job summary

DataAnnotation is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to evaluate how frontier AI models handle real electrical and electronics work. Your judgment, written rationale, and hardware design experience will guide the development of next‑gen engineering tools.

The role focuses on designing engineering problems, running them through AI models, and critiquing model outputs to ensure accuracy and reliability across circuits, RF, control systems, and power domains.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industry experience in circuit or electronics engineering.
• Background in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Strong command of circuit analysis and design tradeoffs.
• Ability to defend component-level and system-level decisions.
• Experience with AI tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design challenging, realistic problems: circuits, control loops, power stages.
• Run problems through frontier AI models and judge output to high professional standards.
• Compare model versions on identical prompts and judge performance gaps.
• Critique model-generated derivations, schematics, and calculations with written rationale.
• Flag concrete failures with evidence (wrong assumptions, sign errors, unphysical results).
