Job summary

DataAnnotation seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to guide frontier AI models in understanding real electrical engineering tasks. You’ll draw on years of hardware design, debugging, and shipping experience to shape AI tools that reason about circuits and physical constraints.

You will craft challenging problems, run them through AI models, and critically evaluate outputs against your professional standards, writing clear rationales for judgments.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and 2+ years of circuit/electronics engineering experience.
• Strong command of circuit analysis and design tradeoffs; able to defend decisions at component and system level.
• Comfortable using AI tools or quickly picking them up.

Responsibilities

• Design challenging real-world engineering problems (circuits, control loops, power stages).
• Run problems through frontier AI models and judge outputs by professional standards.
• Compare model versions on identical prompts and assess performance.
• Critique model-generated derivations and provide written rationale behind conclusions.
• Flag concrete failures with evidence (assumptions, units, topologies, datasheet values).
