Job summary

System One, Inc. in the Denver metro area is seeking an Electrical Design Project Manager with PE and a track record in leading projects from concept to construction.

This role offers remote work with local meetings and site visits approximately twice per week, with responsibility for power and lighting design and coordination across disciplines. The ideal candidate will have a PE license, experience managing building electrical systems through design and construction, and strong communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
• Active PE license required; licensure in any U.S. state will be considered.
• Experience designing electrical systems for buildings and managing projects through design and construction.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage electrical engineering projects from schematic design through construction administration.
• Design power distribution and lighting systems and prepare drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate electrical designs with architects, mechanical engineers, and project partners.
• Manage project schedules, deliverables, and client communication.
• Participate in design meetings, site visits, construction observations, and punch walks.
• Address construction questions and help resolve design and field coordination issues.
• Maintain accurate, coordinated project documentation and meet applicable codes and project requirements.
