Job summary

Davenergy Solutions is seeking a full-time Electrical Design Engineer to support electrical design for healthcare infrastructure projects. The role emphasizes healthcare facilities like hospitals and laboratories, with remote work and limited travel for site inspections.

The ideal candidate will have a PE license and be able to stamp/seal electrical drawings, perform load calculations and arc-flash studies, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Produce electrical design layouts and construction documents for healthcare facilities (hospitals, laboratories, clean rooms, etc.)
• Perform electrical feasibility studies, load calculations, and power system analyses
• Design low- and medium-voltage electrical distribution systems, including normal, emergency, and critical power systems
• Develop and review electrical one-line diagrams, panel schedules, specifications, and design narratives
• Conduct site surveys and existing condition assessments for renovation and retrofit projects
• Perform or support arc flash studies and electrical system coordination analyses
• Coordinate with mechanical, commissioning, and multidisciplinary design teams
• Provide construction-phase engineering support, including submittal reviews, RFIs, and field observations
• Perform construction verification and support field functional testing as needed
• Review work for code compliance and conformance with applicable standards
• Stamp and seal electrical construction documents as a licensed Professional Engineer
