Job summary

Davenergy Solutions is seeking a fully remote Electrical Design Engineer to support healthcare infrastructure projects, including hospitals and laboratories. The role requires a licensed Electrical Professional Engineer who can stamp and seal construction documents and has strong capability in electrical design and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Ability to assess existing conditions and develop electrical design solutions for complex healthcare facilities
• Coordinate design requirements with facility stakeholders and operational constraints
• Ensure designs comply with codes, standards and project requirements
• Knowledge of healthcare electrical systems including emergency and essential systems
• Independently manage technical quality, schedule, and deliverables
• Proficiency with engineering design software and standard applications
• Strong interpersonal skills for remote team collaboration

Responsibilities

• Produce electrical design layouts and construction documents for healthcare facilities (hospitals, labs, clean rooms)
• Perform electrical feasibility studies, load calculations, and power system analyses
• Design low- and medium-voltage electrical distribution systems
• Develop and review electrical one-line diagrams, panel schedules, specs, and narratives
• Conduct site surveys and existing condition assessments for renovations
• Perform arc flash studies and coordination analyses
• Coordinate with mechanical, commissioning, and multidisciplinary teams
• Provide construction-phase support including submittals and RFIs
• Stamp and seal electrical construction documents as a licensed PE
