The role emphasizes Revit model creation and coordination with architectural disciplines, plus robust QA/QC reviews.

The ideal candidate will hold EIT or PE licensure and bring strong knowledge of power distribution, lighting, and regulatory standards (IEC, NFPA, DA, IBC). Travel to sites may be required.

Qualifications

• EIT or PE licensed.
• Healthcare project experience.
• Experience with codes and standards (IEC, NFPA, DA, IBC).

Responsibilities

• Develop and design electrical systems for healthcare environments.
• Create and update Revit models, ensuring integration with architectural documents.
• Perform detailed electrical load calculations for reliability and efficiency.
• Draft drawings and contract documents for power distribution, lighting, fire alarms, and controls.
• Generate redlines, narratives, and reports to document project progress.
• Conduct QA/QC reviews of designs per industry standards.
• Prepare project schedules and cost estimates with suppliers.
• Oversee construction phases by providing technical guidance and inspections.
