Options for Youth - San Juan, Inc. seeks educators to support English Learners with ELD instruction, manage 50–75 students, and report progress to leadership. The role includes developing individualized plans and coordinating EL interventions.

Responsibilities include outlining study plans, administering ELPAC, and supporting LTELs in AR/SGI classes, with professional learning and collaborative PLCs to improve outcomes.

Formación

• Experience with second language learners.
• California clear or preliminary single-subject credential.
• English Learner Authorization (ELA1 or similar).

Responsabilidades

• Identify and instruct English Learners with ELD support in reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
• Manage a caseload of 50–75 students and report progress to leadership.
• Prepare course outlines and administer ELPAC tests to evaluate pupil progress.
• Provide pull-out and LTEL support in AR and SGI classes.
• Facilitate professional learning communities for AR teachers with EL interventions.
• Create Individualized Learning Plans for EL students and monitor progress.
