The role involves direct instruction for six hours daily, differentiating lesson plans, and supporting English Learners as part of a supportive, mission-driven team. The position is remote with a 10% in-person requirement for events, PDs, and local activities in Southern California and the Northern California region, including

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• CA Preliminary or Clear single-subject teaching credential with English Language Authorization (ELA).
• Experience delivering data-driven instruction and using assessments to influence instruction.
• Ability to support English Language Learners and provide targeted interventions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver our educational program with data-driven, results-based instruction.
• Provide direct instruction to students six hours a day.
• Teach to mastery of the Common Core Standards with differentiated lesson plans.
• Use assessments and data to influence instruction and maintain records of grade, attendance, and retention.
• Provide targeted interventions for students with special education needs and ELLs.
• Participate in meetings, conferences, and training workshops and assist with state-mandated testing.
• Meet with students and parents to discuss progress and problems.
