Job summary

Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) is seeking a Wage Instructor to support COAST and RAM training initiatives in Corpus Christi and Brownsville. The role involves coordinating course activities, presenting topics, and guiding learners using adult education principles.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Five years of EHS experience in construction/general industries.
• Two years in adult education and/or training.
• Must reside in specified TX counties.
• OSHA Authorized Outreach Trainer (OSHA500/501) preferred.
• Equivalency: 3 years experience + Associate's; or 1 year + Bachelor's.

Responsibilities

• Assist in training TEEX COAST RAM and RAM programs.
• Lead course topic presentations with teaching aids.
• Apply adult learning theories to maximize learner success.
• Coordinate course activities and report to the program coordinator.
