Job summary
The Texas A&M University TEEX program seeks a Leadership Wage Instructor to support COAST in Corpus Christi and RAM in Brownsville, delivering online and classroom leadership training. This role applies adult learning theory, assists in curriculum updates, and collaborates with the ITSI Special Projects team to strengthen TEEX Leadership courses.
Qualifications include a High School Diploma/GED with four years in leadership, plus one year in adult education or training.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Four years of experience in a key leadership role, including applicable experience instructing leadership training.
- One year of adult education and/or training.
Responsibilities
- The Wage Agency Instructor assists in training various specialty skilled and/or semi-skilled courses within TEEX Workforce Development Programs at COAST in Corpus Christi and RAM in Brownsville.
- Performs online and/or classroom instruction, field-based skills training, and may provide technical assistance in a specialty area.
- Uses a variety of media to present course material and may help update curriculum to meet learner needs.
- Works with the Leadership team and ITSI customers to deliver training in and develop TEEX Leadership courses.
