Job summary

Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service seeks a Leadership Wage Instructor to support COAST in Corpus Christi and RAM in Brownsville. You will deliver online and classroom leadership training to skilled and semi-skilled learners, applying adult learning theories to maximize success.

Requires 4 years in a leadership role, 1 year in adult education, and TX county residency. A valid driver’s license is required; equivalency options exist.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Four years of experience in a key leadership role, including leadership training.
• One year of adult education and/or training.
• Residency in Aransas, Bee, Brooks, Cameron, Duval, Hidalgo, Jim Wells, Kenedy, Kleberg, Live Oak, Nueces, Refugio, San Patricio, Starr, or Willacy counties.

Responsibilities

• Provide online and classroom instruction and field-based training.
• Assist in creating or updating curriculum to meet learner needs.
• Collaborate with Leadership team and ITSI customers to deliver TEEX Leadership courses.
• Support COAST and RAM program objectives across multiple sites.
