Job summary

Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service in Brownsville, TX, seeks an EHS/OSHA Instructor for COAST/TRAIN to lead specialized safety courses at COAST in Corpus Christi and RAM in Brownsville.

You will deliver engaging training, apply adult-learning theories, and coordinate activities with the ITSI program. Must have EHS experience, OSHA trainer credentials, and be prepared for travel within Texas.

Qualifications

• OSHA Authorized Outreach Trainer (OSHA500 and/or OSHA501)
• Five years of EHS experience in Construction or General Industries
• Two years in adult education/training
• Must reside in one of listed Texas counties or obtain license/passport as required

Responsibilities

• Lead instructor for COAST/ RAM courses and related EHS topics.
• Present course material using demonstrations and teaching aids.
• Apply adult learning theories to maximize learner success.
• Coordinate course activities with TEEX program coordinator.
• Ensure compliance with program and safety standards.
