Job summary

Grand Canyon Education seeks an Account Executive to manage the Jacksonville, IL territory and drive inquiry generation for online education programs. You will counsel prospective students, build partnerships, and guide applicants through admissions, all while meeting ambitious targets in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• No delinquent or in default on a federal student loan as verified in your credit report.
• Outstanding time management skills; prioritize competing priorities while traveling.
• Clear communication skills; comfortable in person, writing and on the phone, with good listening abilities.
• Self-motivation and drive to succeed; take ownership of time spent with students.
• High emotional intelligence; coach diverse students and build partner relationships.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel; some evenings/weekends may be required.
• Computer literacy; proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and common digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement event/activity plans for your territory to raise awareness of online programs.
• Drive inquiry generation and develop high-impact partnerships for your territory.
• Provide exceptional counseling to prospective students and families; champion the GCE mission.
• Guide applicants through admissions and support online learning pathways.
