Job summary

Committee for Children is seeking a Senior Product Manager of Edtech Innovation to shape strategy, define a scalable product vision, and own the roadmap aligned with our mission to advance children’s well-being through essential human skills.

You will lead 0–1 product development, collaborate across researchers, UX, engineering, and GTM teams, manage the backlog in Jira/Confluence, and report progress to leadership and the board while navigating K‑12 purchasing dynamics in a remote-friendly

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience in EdTech or youth-focused industries.
• Proven track record leading 0–1 product development and launches that scale revenue.
• Demonstrated experience using AI tools for product development, user research, or personalization
• Hands-on experience with agile/Scrum or Kanban practices and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
• Experience managing or influencing cross-functional teams.
• Deep understanding of K‑12 education markets, especially district and school purchasing dynamics.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Product Strategy & Vision: Collaborate with the VP, Product and leadership to define a scalable product vision and roadmap.
• Lead the design and development of product prototypes and rapid iteration from concept to launch.
• Own backlog management, write epics/stories, and guide agile ceremonies with clarity.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with researchers, instructional designers, UX, engineering, and GTM teams.
• Represent product to leadership and board, presenting business cases and evidence.
