Job summary

Committee for Children is seeking a Senior Product Manager of Edtech Innovation to shape strategy and drive the portfolio of products. You will translate educator and student needs into a scalable vision, own the roadmap, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver iterative releases.

The role emphasizes governance, market research, prototyping, and close collaboration with researchers and designers to maximize learning outcomes and revenue impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in EdTech or youth-focused industries.
• Proven track record leading 0–1 product development and launching new products that achieved scale and revenue targets.
• Demonstrated experience using AI tools for product development, user research, or personalization.
• Hands-on experience with agile/Scrum or Kanban practices and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) for backlog management, sprint planning, and delivery tracking.
• Experience managing or influencing cross-functional teams.
• Deep understanding of K-12 education markets, especially district and school purchasing dynamics.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive product strategy and vision with leadership.
• Represent product in governance meetings and provide evidence-backed updates.
• Conduct ongoing market research to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities in education.
• Lead design and development of prototypes and rapid iteration from concept to launch.
• Own and refine product backlog, facilitate agile ceremonies, and track delivery health.
• Collaborate with researchers, instructional designers, UX, engineering, and GTM teams.
• Manage the budget for product innovation and monitor performance.
