Job summary

Committee for Children is seeking a Senior Product Manager of Edtech Innovation to lead a new product line for the K–12 U.S. education market, translating market insights into scalable solutions and guiding development from concept to launch.

You’ll collaborate with the VP of Product and cross-functional teams to secure resources, establish success metrics, and drive discipline in agile delivery to ship validated products.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in EdTech or youth-focused industries.
  • Proven track record leading 0–1 product development and launching new products that achieved scale and revenue targets.
  • Demonstrated experience using AI tools for product development, user research, or personalization.
  • Hands-on experience with agile/Scrum or Kanban practices and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) for backlog management, sprint planning, and delivery tracking.
  • Experience managing or influencing cross-functional teams.
  • Deep understanding of K–12 education markets, especially district and school purchasing dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Travel is typically quarterly but may be as frequent as every two months for research, testing, and other activities as needed.
  • This position is remote; eligible to work remotely in AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, MA, NJ, NM, NY, OH, OR, PA, TX, VA, WA.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own product strategy and vision for new Edtech product line.
  • Translate needs of students, educators, and districts into a scalable product roadmap.
  • Define success metrics grounded in user value and business impact.
  • Own backlog and guide Agile delivery from concept to launch.
  • Collaborate with researchers, designers, engineering, and GTM teams across the organization.
  • Lead budget oversight and performance monitoring for the product line.
