Job summary

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking an Edifecs Platform Operations Lead to manage the Edifecs platform, ensuring stability, scalability, and compliance in a remote US-based position within the Veterans Affairs department. The role requires 10+ years in EDI/healthcare or enterprise apps and deep AWS experience.

You will oversee platform architecture decisions, guide modernization, and work with product, architecture, and security teams to optimize Edifecs processing rules, routing, and batch

Qualifications

10+ years in EDI, healthcare, or enterprise apps with AWS
Strong knowledge of EDIFECS architecture and transaction lifecycles
Excellent communication with stakeholders

Responsibilities

Act as the Edifecs Platform Manager leading the Edifecs application support organization for stability and compliance
Provide technical oversight, manage staffing, and drive roadmap execution
Guide architecture decisions, cloud scalability, and performance strategies
Configure and maintain XEServer, XEngine, TPMs, SpecBuilder and related modules
Support release deployments, environment refreshes, and upgrades
Collaborate with EDI Analysts, DevSecOps, Cloud teams and business partners
