Job summary

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking an experienced Edifecs Platform Operations Lead for a remote role supporting the Veterans Affairs department. The ideal candidate will oversee Edifecs platforms, drive roadmap execution, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure secure, scalable operations.

Required are extensive Edifecs and AWS expertise, strong communications, and a track record in EDI troubleshooting and performance tuning.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in EDI, healthcare, or enterprise applications.
Deep hands-on knowledge of Edifecs platform components and Edifecs processing rules.
Strong AWS/cloud experience with scalable, secure architectures.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience with EDI troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

Lead Edifecs Platform operations, ensuring stability, scalability, and compliance.
Provide technical oversight, staffing, and roadmap execution.
Collaborate with product, architecture, vendor, and business teams.
Guide architecture decisions, modernization, cloud scalability, and performance.
Configure XEServer, XEngine, TPMs, SpecBuilder, and related modules.
Support EDI analysts on rules, routing, and batch workflows; optimize performance.
Monitor JVM tuning, logging, and certificate management; support releases.
