Job summary

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking an Edifecs Platform Operations Lead to oversee the Edifecs platform in support of the Veterans Affairs department. This fully remote role is based in the United States and requires strong AWS and EDI expertise.

You will guide architecture decisions, optimize performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, compliant production operations and successful roadmap execution.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in EDI, healthcare, or enterprise applications operations with strong AWS experience.
• Strong knowledge of EDIFECS architecture and transaction lifecycles.
• Experience with EDI integration, AS2/SFTP/FTPS/HTTPS channels, and API-based integrations.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Edifecs Platform Manager, leading the Edifecs application support organization for stability, scalability, compliance, and roadmap execution.
• Provide technical oversight, manage staffing, and drive architecture decisions and modernization efforts.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, vendor, and business teams; guide EDI analysts and DevSecOps engineers.
